How the “buy” links work

Leftyland is operated by appy lad, a UK sole trader.

Some of the links on Leftyland are affiliate links. When you follow one to a shop or marketplace and buy something, we may earn a small commission. It costs you nothing extra, and the price you pay is the same as if you had gone there directly.

We run affiliate links with Reverb, eBay, and other music retailers. You will see a “Some links are affiliate links” note next to gear offers, and outbound links carry a sponsored tag so search engines and your browser know what they are.

Why we do it

Leftyland runs on a real server with real bills. The commission from these links helps cover those costs so the gear database and the marketplace can stay free to use. That is the whole of it. There is no paid placement: which models are listed, and whether they are marked as actually made left-handed, is never influenced by commission. The data comes first.

What we never do

• We do not change a model’s availability to push a sale.
• We do not rank or hide gear based on what pays us.
• We do not add tracking beyond what the affiliate programs need to credit a sale.
