Cookies are small files a site stores on your device. We keep ours to a minimum, and we only set the non-essential ones after you agree.

Essential cookies

These make the site work and do not need consent. You cannot turn them off through the site, but you can block cookies in your browser, though parts of Leftyland may then stop working.

• Sign-in session. Keeps you logged in as you move between pages. Set when you sign in, and cleared when you sign out.
• Your cookie choice. Remembers whether you accepted or rejected analytics, so we do not ask again on every visit. Stored for a year.

Analytics cookies

If you accept, we use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used, for example which gear pages people visit, so we can improve it. These cookies (named _ga and similar) are only set after you opt in, and never before. If you reject analytics, they are not set at all.

Advertising

We do not use advertising cookies today. If we add ads in future we will update this page and ask for your consent through a certified consent tool before any ad cookies are set.
