Variant ambiguityTwo different Martin X Series dreadnoughts answer to this name. The older DX1 has a solid Sitka spruce top with mahogany-pattern HPL back and sides, a Rust Stratabond neck and a black Micarta fingerboard. The current D-X1E is all figured mahogany HPL top/back/sides with a Richlite fingerboard, 1.75 in nut and Martin E-1 electronics. Only facets common to both are recorded above.
